Location of our offices: Chesham, High Wycombe. You'll attend a few times a month for meetings, 1-1s and team catch-ups.
Mobile role: With travel across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding counties.
Salary: £44,819 plus excellent benefits

We’re looking for skilled Electricians to join our growing Compliance Testing team. This is a mobile role covering our property portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and nearby areas. You’ll be provided with a van and fuel card for business use, and you’ll work as part of a supportive, values‑led organisation with a clear social purpose.

About the role
As an Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical testing, inspections and repairs across our homes, ensuring we maintain full compliance and deliver a high‑quality service. You’ll complete EICRs, emergency lighting tests, repairs and partial rewires, working with a first‑time fix approach and providing excellent customer care in residents’ homes.
You’ll work independently across a mobile patch, supported by a wider team who are committed to delivering safe, compliant and well‑maintained homes.
Key responsibilities
Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Complete installations, servicing, repairs and partial rewires in domestic properties
Perform annual emergency lighting tests and other compliance duties
Deliver a first‑time fix service with minimal disruption to residents
Maintain accurate documentation and job records
Follow health and safety regulations and internal procedures
Represent SettleParadigm professionally in residents’ homes
What we’re looking for
Experience
Strong experience in domestic installations, inspections, fault finding, servicing and repairs
Good understanding of construction, building regulations and health and safety
Excellent communication skills with residents and colleagues
Full valid UK manual driving licence
Essential qualifications / Must haves
City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent)
18th Edition
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3
Minimum one year of experience in inspection and testing
Preferred/Nice to haves
Confidence working independently across a mobile patch
Passion for maintaining safe, compliant homes
Experience working in social housing or local authority properties
