We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our team at our Holton Heath site.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day production, ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality chocolate products safely, efficiently and on time.
You will lead and support the production team, drive improvements across the manufacturing process and ensure high standards of food safety, quality, health & safety and efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the day-to-day production operation.
- Supervise, motivate and develop the production team.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
- Work closely with other departments including Quality, Warehouse and NPD.
- Manage staffing, production planning and resource requirements.
- Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure company procedures and manufacturing standards are consistently followed.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous production management experience, ideally within food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar environment.
You will be:
- An experienced and confident people manager.
- Organised, proactive and commercially aware.
- Passionate about quality and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable about food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
- A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to lead from the front and get the best from your team.
