We're looking for a Lead Technology Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the technology products and services that support our ambition to become an outstanding police force.

About the Role
As Lead Technology Product Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of technology products and services, ensuring they deliver measurable value and support organisational priorities.
Working closely with senior technology leaders, stakeholders, suppliers and operational teams, you will define product strategy, develop roadmaps, oversee governance and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
You'll lead and support Product Owners and multidisciplinary teams, creating a culture of innovation, collaboration and user-centred delivery while ensuring products continue to evolve in line with changing organisational and operational needs.

What We're Looking For
Proven leadership in technology product, service or portfolio management.
The ability to turn strategic ambition into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Experience developing high-performing Product Owners and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills at all levels.
Commercial and analytical thinking, backed by data-driven decision making.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A collaborative approach to working with suppliers and partners.
Energy, curiosity and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Desirable Experience
Experience working within a mature technology environment with established governance, delivery and service management frameworks.

Based at Police Headquarters, Portishead, this is a hybrid role requiring attendance in the office 1-2 days per week, with occasional travel to other police sites. Access to fleet vehicles will be available for business travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 5 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
