Our client is a fast growing SME who is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Financial Analyst / Finance Business Partner to join its dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Analyze financial data using SQL queries and Power BI dashboards to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide tailored financial analysis that informs decision-making.
- Support the implementation of financial controls, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans through rigorous analysis of historical data and market trends.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Leverage IT tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, for efficient data management and reporting.
- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively across diverse audiences in English.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or Finance Business Partner within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis, complemented by advanced skills in Power BI for visualization.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of financial planning processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint is essential.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Prior experience working with IT tools related to finance analytics is advantageous.
