Main Purpose of the Job:
In this role, you will need to support the UK clearance team in Dover and Bolney by managing queries related to incorrect or missing supplier paperwork to ensure timely UK customs clearance for orders coming into the UK from Europe.
This includes working closely with the team to resolve issues on manifests, requesting necessary amendments from hauliers, and explaining container manifesting details to the Dover clearance team.
Attention to detail is crucial to facilitate communication and understanding between the clearance team and suppliers.
This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery, as orders cannot be completed until customs clearance is finalized. Strong time management skills are essential.
Key Tasks:
- Respond to queries related to individual UK customs clearance procedures.
- Contact suppliers and customers to request missing or incorrect information.
- Collaborate with haulier's to correct manifest discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the Bolney team to ensure all orders are cleared on time.
- Ensure that all clearance-related issues are resolved promptly to prevent delays in delivery.

- Holiday: 20 days
