Water Hygiene Technician (Plumbing) – Lambeth
Basic salary £35,735.70pa
42.5hr working week

We are a well-established organisation delivering integrated engineering and property maintenance services across the UK. With over 50 years of industry experience, we have built a strong reputation for supporting public sector organisations, housing associations, and commercial clients.
Operating primarily across London and the South East, we specialise in maintaining and improving residential and commercial properties, with a particular focus on social housing.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned water hygiene and plumbing works across residential and commercial properties
- Complete temperature monitoring, water sampling, and water system inspections
- Undertake remedial plumbing works including TMV servicing, valve replacements, dead leg removals, and pipework modifications
- Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks and associated water systems
- Ensure compliance with ACOP L8 and Legionella control requirements
- Field-based role covering Lambeth and surrounding areas
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- Previous experience within the water hygiene, Legionella, or plumbing industry
- Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Experience carrying out remedial plumbing works and water hygiene tasks
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent (desirable)
- Full Driver’s Licence
