Overview
Williams Motor Group is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Mechanic to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, experienced vehicle technician with strong diagnostic and repair capabilities, and proven work experience in the motor trade.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring excellent customer service and workshop efficiency.

- Perform thorough vehicle diagnostics (including electrical systems) using diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Assemble new equipment or parts according to specifications
- Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment repair or installation tasks
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used
- Assist with equipment upgrades and modifications to improve performance
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with management regarding repairs and maintenance needs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role involving equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and machinery
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Excellent problem solving ability with strong attention to detail.
- Experience performing maintenance on diverse types of machinery or vehicles is desirable
- Good communication skills and a positive can do attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Previous experience working in customer service is advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK driving license (preferred)

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
