Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to perform well under pressure, and previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of wine and cheese pairings is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
· Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations based on the menu and wine list.
· Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including cheese and charcuterie options and wine pairings.
· Assist in the setup and clearing of tables, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
· Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
· Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
· Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
· Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Waiter in a restaurant or bar setting. - Strong knowledge of wine and cheese pairings is preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. - High standard of personal hygiene and appearance. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. **
