Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice.
We are an independant family run practice moving into a newly renovated premesis. We offer denplan, invisalign, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. We offer in house CPD and pay for GDC reg fee.
You will be joining a close knit, friendly and happy team.
The successful candidate will assist dentists during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in accordance with practice protocols.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Promote good communication with patients to foster a welcoming atmosphere and address any concerns effectively.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a caring and empathetic approach.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication with patients and team members.
- Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care, including infection control procedures.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, dentists, and colleagues.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy clinical setting.
