Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ musculoskeletal health, including detailed history-taking and physical examinations with a focus on anatomy knowledge.
- Develop personalized treatment plans utilising manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle advice tailored to individual needs.
- Perform hands-on therapies such as joint manipulations, soft tissue mobilisations, and other evidence-based modalities to alleviate pain and improve function.
- Educate clients on injury prevention strategies, posture correction, and rehabilitation exercises to promote long-term well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records of assessments, treatments provided, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in musculoskeletal health practices through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy techniques within a clinical or sports setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy is essential for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
- Prior experience working with diverse client populations including athletes, injury-prone individuals, or those with chronic pain is preferred.
- Certification or licensing relevant to your profession (e.g., Osteopathy registration, Physiotherapy license, Chiropractic certification) is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients and clearly explain treatment plans.
- A proactive approach to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in musculoskeletal health.
