We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our team at the Badge Clothing Outlet at Dalton Park.
As a Supervisor, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider management team, you will lead by example on the shop floor, support and develop the sales team, drive commercial performance and ensure our customers receive an exceptional level of service.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced designer retail environment and is passionate about delivering results.
What You Can Expect
As a Supervisor at Badge Clothing, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example on the shop floor, setting high standards for customer service, selling and professionalism.
- Supervising, supporting and motivating the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs.
- Supporting the Store Manager and management team with the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Helping implement action plans to improve sales, conversion, ATV, UPT and overall store performance.
- Coaching and developing team members to continuously improve their selling skills, product knowledge and customer service.
- Creating a customer-focused environment, building relationships with customers and encouraging repeat business.
- Maintaining excellent shop-floor presentation, merchandising and stock standards throughout the trading day.
- Ensuring stock is correctly sized, replenished and presented to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of our designer brands, products, current trends and seasonal collections.
- Demonstrating strong commercial awareness by identifying opportunities to improve sales and reacting to customer demand.
- Supporting the management team with opening and closing procedures, including till operations and required paperwork.
- Ensuring company policies, procedures and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Supporting stock management, deliveries, transfers and back-of-house operations when required.
- Helping maintain a safe, organised and professional working environment.
- Providing clear communication between the management team and sales team throughout each trading day.
- Taking responsibility and making confident decisions when senior management is not immediately available.
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous supervisory, senior sales or management experience, ideally within fashion, designer or premium retail.
- Has a genuine passion for designer fashion, brands and delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Is confident leading, motivating and developing a team through active supervision.
- Is highly sales-focused and understands how to drive retail KPIs and commercial performance.
- Has strong commercial awareness and can identify opportunities to maximise sales.
- Leads from the front and is comfortable working alongside the team on the shop floor.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage priorities in a busy, fast-paced retail environment.
- Can use initiative and take ownership of tasks without requiring constant direction.
- Is comfortable with till systems, stock processes and general retail administration.
- Is flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Is committed to continuously developing their own product knowledge, selling skills and leadership ability.
