We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred
- Experience in serving or working behind a bar is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills, capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
