Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Bar Staff.
YOU MUST HAVE BAR EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE & BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY TO SUNDAY.
FEEL FREE TO CALL THE PUB REGARDING THE JOB OR POP IN AND MEET A MANAGER TO DISCUSS THE ROLE.
Duties
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables or bar areas during busy periods
- Follow responsible serving practices, including checking identification for age verification
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
