M&E ESTIMATOR
Midlands | £45,000 - £65,000 DOE + Package | Permanent
A growing Building Services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced M&E Estimator to join their commercial and pre-construction team in the Midlands.
Working across a range of commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and mixed-use projects, you will play a key role in securing and pricing projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission.

The Role
As an M&E Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for mechanical and electrical building services projects.
Duties will include:
- Reviewing tender documentation, specifications and drawings
- Producing detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical packages
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Conducting site visits and surveys where required
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions
- Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal teams throughout the tender process
- Supporting handovers to the delivery team following successful project awards
- Maintaining strong relationships with key supply chain partners
Requirements
- Previous experience as an M&E Estimator, Mechanical Estimator, Electrical Estimator or Building Services Estimator
- Strong understanding of building services installations and construction processes
- Experience pricing commercial construction projects
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience using estimating software would be advantageous
