Are you interested in working part-time as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol? School Crossing Patrols provide an important and invaluable road safety service, helping young children cross busy roads on their way to and from school.
Applicants must be reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised. A Mobile School Crossing Patrol must have the means of travelling to any site within Derby City. You will be provided with a uniform, safety equipment and full training.
You will only need to work during school term time. The hours cover the beginning and end of the school day, approximately 10 hours a week. A car allowance will also be provided.
To ensure control of and safe passage of pedestrians, including children, across the road at designated locations.
