Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent hygiene standards are met
- Dispose of waste responsibly and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Use commercial cleaning techniques to sanitize high-touch areas, especially in hospital or healthcare environments
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any repairs or issues promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Support additional cleaning tasks during special events or as directed by supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in hospital or healthcare settings is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to hygiene standards
- Reliable with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
