Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Parcel Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery to customers. A valid driver’s licence and experience in commercial driving are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely parcel drop-offs across multiple locations.
- Load and unload parcels, often requiring heavy lifting, while maintaining proper handling procedures to prevent damage.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers and update delivery records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle through regular checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive during deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial driving .
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety at all times.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts as needed, including early mornings or late afternoons if required. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working independently while contributing to a dynamic team environment.
