We're looking for an experienced Barista to join the Naked Coffee team. We're looking for someone who has already worked behind a coffee machine and understands what it takes to consistently serve great coffee.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident working with an espresso machine, understands coffee preparation and genuinely enjoys creating great drinks for customers.
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in someone with:
- Previous experience working as a Barista
- Good knowledge of coffee and different coffee-based drinks
- Confidence using a commercial espresso machine
- Understanding of espresso extraction, milk steaming and drink preparation
- Ability to consistently produce quality coffees during busy periods
- Good understanding of coffee presentation and standards
- Experience with grinders and adjusting coffee settings
- Knowledge of basic coffee equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work quickly without compromising on quality
- A professional, friendly and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
You don't need to be a coffee snob… but you definitely need to know your coffee!
Your role
As our Barista, you'll be responsible for:
Preparing espresso-based drinks to a consistently high standard
Steaming and texturing milk correctly
Dialling in and adjusting the grinder when required
Keeping the coffee machine, grinder and coffee station clean and well maintained
Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service
Preparing and serving food alongside drinks when required
Keeping the coffee station stocked and organised
Working as part of the wider café team
Staying calm and efficient during busy service periods

Who we're looking for
This role is not aimed at someone looking for their first barista job. We're looking for someone who already has hands-on experience and can confidently step behind the machine and get to work.
