When it comes to our English wines, we like to do things a little differently. We are one of few wineries that work with growers all over the country to source the best fruit, rather than relying on a single vineyard. That way we have access to different varietals, grown on different soils, in different microclimates; allowing us to make the best wines, from the best grapes, from the best vineyards.
Responsibilities to include:
· Picking and Packing: Retrieving items for customer orders, securely packing and wrapping products, and applying labels
· Receiving and Unloading: Accepting incoming shipments, signing delivery notes, and unloading goods by hand, trolley, or forklift.
· Checking and Inspecting: Inspecting products for damage or missing components and matching items against delivery paperwork
· Storing and Stock Control: Moving items to designated storage locations, rotating stock, and updating digital inventory records via hand-held scanners or warehouse management systems
· Loading and Dispatching: Organizing and loading outgoing goods onto transport vehicles.
· Maintenance and Safety: Sweeping work areas, keeping aisles clear, operating machinery safely, and following strict health and safety protocols.
Essential skills:
· Physical Fitness: Stamina for heavy lifting, standing, and walking during shift hours.
· Communication and Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues, drivers, and supervisors.
· Machinery Licences: Must hold equipment certifications such as Counterbalance, Reach truck licence & pallet truck
Hours: 42 hours a week, Tuesday to Friday (4 days)
Salary: £12.71
