About Us:
We are looking for two experienced and dedicated Floating Senior Care Workers to join our friendly domiciliary care team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to make a real difference to both our clients and care team.
As a Floating Senior, you will work alongside our management and senior team to maintain high standards of care across the service, while also providing hands-on support within the community.
Working Pattern:
This role works on a two-week rolling rota:
Week A
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Saturday
- Sunday
Week B
The two successful candidates will work opposite rotas to ensure senior support is available throughout the week.
Responsibilities:
- Cover care calls during staff sickness and annual leave.
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
- Complete client reviews and update care plans where required.
- Carry out spot checks and quality assurance visits.
- Complete staff competency assessments and provide mentoring and support.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Senior Team.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Promote high standards of care and ensure compliance with company policies and CQC regulations.
- Respond professionally to changes in client needs and service requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Worker within domiciliary care.
- A caring, reliable and professional approach.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and support other members of the team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
