The Role
As an Engineer Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating the daily deployment of service engineers and tanker drivers across East Anglia. You will ensure jobs are scheduled efficiently, resources are optimised, and customers receive a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily schedules for service engineers and tanker drivers.
- Handle incoming bookings via phone and email from clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Liaise with engineers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure all job data is updated in a timely manner.
- Communicate progress updates clearly across teams and stakeholders.
- Respond quickly to changes, emergencies, and scheduling conflicts.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Desirable Experience:
- Background in the wastewater, utilities, or logistics sector.
- Knowledge of vacuum tanker operations and relevant regulations (e.g. driver hours, VOSA/DVSA rules).
- Full UK driving licence.
