Deputy Manager (Children’s Home) step up to Registered Manager within 8 to 12 months.
Company: Expedius Care Ltd
Location: Streatham (London Borough of Merton)
Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 + Bonus and promotion in 6 to 12 months to Registered Manager (£55,000 to £70,000) when home gets Ofsted Registration
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
The Opportunity
Expedius Care Ltd, part of Expedius Properties Ltd, is launching its first Ofsted-registered children’s home, with ambitious plans for expansion.
We are now recruiting an ambitious Deputy Manager who is ready to step up to Registered Manager and wants to be part of building something from the ground up, rather than inheriting someone else's home.
You will join us during the pre-registration phase, work alongside our leadership team to prepare the Statement of Purpose, policies, systems and staff team, and be put forward to Ofsted as the proposed Registered Manager. We will fund your Level 5 Diploma enrolment (a requirement of the role if you don't already hold it) and you will receive regular 1:1 coaching from our Quality Assurance Lead to prepare you for your Fitness for Purpose interview and the RM role itself.
This is a genuine development opportunity and not a paper promotion. If you're a Deputy or senior who has been waiting for your current RM to move on, this is the route up.

As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the home, leading from pre-registration through to Ofsted approval and ongoing operations, ensuring exceptional care standards at every stage.
