Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Childcare Practitioner to join our team as a Key Worker and SENCo.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and promoting an inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Previous SENCo experience is welcome but not essential, as training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care and education in accordance with the EYFS framework.
- Act as a Key Worker, supporting children’s individual learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support and coordinate SEND provision within the setting.
- Work alongside parents and external professionals to ensure children’s needs are met.
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and assessments.
- Promote safeguarding and children’s welfare at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, and inclusive approach to supporting children.
Desirable:
- SENCo experience and/or SEND knowledge.
- Alternatively, a willingness to undertake SENCo training and develop within the role.
