Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bathroom and Kitchen Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining bathroom and kitchen fittings to a high standard. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction disciplines, including plumbing, carpentry, and masonry, to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and fit bathroom suites, kitchen units, tiles, and associated fixtures according to project specifications
- Conduct repairs and replacements of existing fittings with precision and care
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install components using hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with clients and team members to plan and execute projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform plastering, masonry, or construction painting tasks when necessary to complete installations
- Assist in the preparation of work sites by removing debris or old fittings
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, masonry, or general construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good understanding of health and safety standards within the construction industry
- Additional skills such as roofing, welding, electrical experience, or construction painting are advantageous but not essential
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges
