Care Assistant – Flexible Hours | Paid Training | Mileage Paid

We’re looking for kind, reliable and compassionate people to join our growing team of Care Assistants.
You do not need previous care experience. If you have the right attitude and genuinely want to help people, we will provide the training and support you need.
We can offer anything from a few hours a week around family commitments to more regular hours for those looking to build a career in care.
What will you be doing?
As a Care Assistant, you will visit people in their own homes and help them remain as independent, comfortable and happy as possible.
Your role may include:
- Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Helping with shopping and light household tasks
- Supporting people to maintain their independence
- Offering reassurance and a friendly face
- Keeping accurate care notes following visits
Most importantly, you will take the time to get to know the people you support and provide care with dignity, kindness and respect.

Who are we looking for?
You do not need to have worked in care before.
We are looking for people who are:
- Kind, patient and compassionate
- Reliable and committed
- Comfortable supporting people with personal care
- Able to communicate well with service users, families and colleagues
- Available to work every other weekend
- Available for at least one evening per week
- Eligible to work in the UK
A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferable due to travelling between service users, although we are happy to discuss opportunities with non-drivers.
An enhanced DBS check is required and can be arranged through Safe Choice Care.
