We are looking to recruit an Experienced Chef to join our team with good understanding of the Mediterranean cuisine.
Job role involves:
Your duties will include cooking meats over charcoal grill, unique to the restaurant and making sure all plates come out looking perfectly from the kitchen.
Preparing, cooking and running of the kitchen will be the main responsibility while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Control and direct the food preparation process
- Grilling (cooking) over a charcoal grill (experience needed)
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Being responsible for health and safety
- Being responsible for food hygiene practices
- keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to work
- Organisational skills
- Previous experience working in grill kitchen needed
- Food safety & hygiene awareness
All applicants must be fairly local to be able to commute to and from work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
