About the Role
DataVita operates highly resilient, secure data centre and cloud infrastructure, supporting various customers across the public sector and regulated industry. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing projects. This role requires a delivery-focused individual with strong communication, planning, and leadership skills, and confidence managing customer expectations around critical, always-on infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Own the delivery and success of projects against agreed timelines and quality standards. This includes new customer setup, service migrations and changes to existing customer environments.
- Develop clear project plans, RAID logs, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and third parties to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Manage day-to-day project activity including status updates, handling changes in scope, resolving issues, and escalating where needed.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact, keeping them informed on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Support procurement and supplier coordination where needed, including onboarding new suppliers and managing equipment logistics.
- Ensure all project work meets relevant compliance and security requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in how projects are delivered, including templates, processes, and communication with customers.
- Manage colocation onboarding activity, including rack and power provisioning, cross-connect and carrier circuit coordination, customer access setup, RAMS review, and coordination with data centre engineering teams.
- Deliver cloud onboarding and migration projects, including tenancy builds, VM migrations, firewall and connectivity delivery, DR setup, cutover planning, and hypercare.
- Manage carrier and third-party dependencies, including wayleaves, circuit lead times, and supplier notice periods.
Essential Experience

3+ years' experience managing customer-facing projects, ideally within data centres, cloud services, infrastructure, or similar technical environments.
- Public sector delivery experience, with a working knowledge of PRINCE2.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and customers to agree priorities and timelines.
- Good understanding of project management best practices and documentation.
Key Skills

The ability to build excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain things clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Comfortable using project management tools (e.g. ServiceNow SPM, MS Project).
Desirable Qualifications

Recognised project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP).
- Familiarity with public sector delivery frameworks.
- Awareness of relevant compliance standards (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus).
