Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring they are hygienic at all times
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues that require reporting
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Maintain detailed records of completed cleaning tasks and any supplies used or replenished
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on Saturdays
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean environment
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and communicate effectively with team members
