About the Role
ARO Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of our client, a hotel, a beautiful Grade II listed guesthouse and functions venue located in the heart of Cheadle, Staffordshire. The hotel welcomes guests for memorable stays, weddings, and special occasions, and is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain its high standards.
This role offers flexible working hours on a zero-hours contract, making it ideal for individuals seeking work that can fit around other commitments. Both seasonal and ongoing opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Make beds and prepare rooms for arriving guests.
- Iron and fold bed linen and towels.
- Replenish guest rooms during multiple-night stays.
- Ensure all public areas remain clean, tidy, and well presented.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
- Work efficiently while paying close attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
