About Us: We are an Isle of Wight based, family owned, pub group with iconic venues in Cowes, East Cowes & Gurnard. We focus on a great range of drinks, quality food & service plus year round events.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pub. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of service.
- Leading and motivating the team to provide excellent customer service.
- Training & coaching new employees.
- Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Monitoring and managing stock levels, placing orders as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assisting in marketing and promotional activities to drive footfall and revenue.
Qualifications and Skills: We are looking for proactive and dynamic individuals with the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
