Job Description
DB Digital Technologies Ltd is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design and deliver innovative technology solutions that support business growth and digital transformation. You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing system architectures while ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Duties
- Lead the development of comprehensive solution architectures by analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical designs using UML diagrams, system design patterns, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, define project scope, and establish clear technical specifications.
- Design scalable cloud architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms, incorporating microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices such as continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Develop and oversee API strategies utilizing REST, SOAP, and Web services to ensure seamless integration across diverse systems and platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies including Java, C#, Python, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember.js), front-end/back-end development tools (MVC frameworks, ASP.NET), databases (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB), and NoSQL solutions to meet project needs.
- Ensure system security and compliance by integrating security protocols within architecture designs and adhering to industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership during the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design reviews, code quality assurance, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Advocate for best practices in system design such as design patterns, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and enterprise integration techniques.
- Support ongoing maintenance by establishing monitoring frameworks using tools like Jenkins or Ansible for automated deployment and configuration management.
Experience
- Experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior Software Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and systems integration.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Microsoft technologies, or other enterprise platforms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Pay: £76,000.00-£98,000.00 per year
