BMW Technician / Vehicle Technician Wanted
German Autowerks Ltd – Huntingdon
German Autowerks Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our growing BMW specialist workshop.
We are an independent specialist focused on BMW and MINI servicing, diagnostics, repairs, performance work, track builds, and enthusiast-owned vehicles. This is not a basic fast-fit role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem solving, and wants to be part of a workshop that works on interesting cars to a high standard.
The ideal candidate would have previous BMW experience, either from a main dealer, independent specialist, or strong hands-on experience with BMW vehicles. However, attitude and passion are just as important as qualifications. If you care about doing the job properly, want to keep learning, and enjoy working on performance and specialist cars, we want to hear from you.
The role will include:
- Servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repair work
- BMW and MINI fault finding and mechanical repairs
- Suspension, brakes, engine, drivetrain and general workshop work
- Working on performance, track and project vehicles
- Following proper processes and maintaining high standards
- Communicating clearly with the team about job progress and findings
- Keeping your work area organised and professional
The ideal candidate:
- Has BMW experience or a strong interest in BMW/MINI vehicles
- Is a qualified or experienced Vehicle Technician
- Has good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Has a genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry
- Is willing to learn and develop within the business
- Holds a full UK driving licence
What we offer:
- Interesting work on BMW, MINI, performance and track-focused vehicles
- A clean, professional independent specialist workshop environment
- Opportunity to be involved in exciting builds and projects
- Supportive team with high standards
- Room to grow with the business
- Competitive pay depending on experience
This role would suit someone who wants more than just routine servicing. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a specialist workshop, take ownership of their work, and help us continue building German Autowerks into one of the leading independent BMW specialists in the area.
