we are a service with houses in Northampton and Kettering . This opportunity is for the Kettering service. we provide supported accommodation for people with various mental health difficulties. This is a part time vacancy. the hours are 12.5 per week ( one long day with a sleep in, Friday/Sunday alternating). we operate on a 4 week rolling rota which means the shifts are set. there will be opportunities for overtime to cover staff absences and holidays.
our aim is to support people to become more independent and get back to living in the community.
the role is to support, not "do for" so successful applicants will be those that are motivated to encourage people to get back on their feet.
you will be supporting people with their daily living skills such as shopping, cooking, budgeting, managing mental health, social inclusion, return to employment etc.
you will need to be highly motivated and proactive to encourage participation in tasks, whilst maintaining people`s dignity.
