Overview
As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of Burger Boi. You’ll welcome customers, take orders accurately, prepare drinks, assemble orders, maintain cleanliness and ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
● Welcome every customer with a friendly and positive attitude.
● Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
● Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
● Handle cash and card payments responsibly.
● Prepare drinks, desserts and front counter items to company standards.
● Assemble and check orders for accuracy before handing them to customers or delivery drivers.
● Manage takeaway and delivery platform orders efficiently.
● Maintain a clean, organised and fully stocked front counter.
● Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
● Support kitchen staff during busy service periods when required.
● Restock packaging, drinks, sauces and other front-of-house supplies.
● Resolve customer queries professionally and escalate complaints where appropriate.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
● Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
● Previous customer service or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
● Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
● Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
● Strong teamwork skills.
● Good attention to detail.
● Basic numeracy for handling payments.
● Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
