About Us
Lundie Electrical Ltd is a growing electrical and renewable energy company based in Nantwich, Cheshire.
We work across domestic and commercial electrical services, solar PV, battery storage and EV charging, and pride ourselves on providing a professional, friendly and reliable service from the first enquiry through to completion.
As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for an organised, proactive and personable individual to join our team and take ownership of much of the day-to-day customer communication and administration.
This is an important role within the business. You’ll often be the first person our customers speak to and will help make sure enquiries are responded to, jobs progress smoothly and nothing gets forgotten.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career with us rather than simply fill a position. If you’re ambitious, proactive and enjoy improving the way things are done, there will be plenty of opportunities to make the role your own.
The Role -
Customer Enquiries & Communication
You’ll be responsible for helping us provide a quick and professional response to our customers, including:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with new and existing customer enquiries.
- Taking accurate information and scheduling callbacks where required.
- Monitoring and responding to customer emails.
- Liaising with the Director or engineers when technical input is required before responding.
- Keeping customers updated while their enquiry or job progresses.
You won’t be expected to know the technical answers from day one, part of the role will be learning how we work and knowing when an enquiry can be dealt with directly and when it needs passing to someone technical.
Job Management & Scheduling
You’ll help keep our jobs and enquiries organised by:
- Creating and populating new job cards within our Job Management System.
- Making sure customer and job information is complete and accurate.
- Booking accepted works into the diary.
- Coordinating appointments and access arrangements with customers.
- Chasing outstanding information required before jobs can progress.
- Helping ensure the team has the information they need before attending the site.
Lettings & Property Enquiries
We work with letting agents, landlords and property managers and you’ll take responsibility for managing these enquiries from start to finish.
This will include:
- Receiving new work requests.
- Contacting tenants where required.
- Arranging appointments and access.
- Creating and updating job cards.
- Keeping agents, landlords and tenants informed.
- Following jobs through to completion.
Sales & Quotation Follow-Up
We’re not looking for a pushy salesperson, but we do want to make sure potential customers aren’t forgotten after we’ve invested time preparing a quotation.
You’ll help by:
- Following up quotations after they’ve been sent.
- Checking whether customers have any questions.
- Arranging a callback where technical advice is required.
- Following up outstanding quotations at appropriate intervals.
- Booking accepted quotations into the schedule.
- Keeping our pipeline of enquiries and quotations organised and up to date.
A big part of the role is simply making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Customer Care & Reviews
Once work has been completed, you’ll help us maintain a great relationship with our customers by:
- Following up completed jobs.
- Checking customers are happy with the service they’ve received.
- Requesting customer feedback and Google reviews.
- Passing any issues or concerns to the appropriate member of the team.
- Helping us continually improve the customer experience.
About You
We’re more interested in finding the right person than someone who ticks every box.
Ideally, you’ll be someone who:
- Is friendly, confident and professional on the telephone.
- Has excellent written communication skills.
- Is highly organised and enjoys keeping on top of things.
- Is comfortable working independently.
- Takes ownership of tasks rather than waiting to be reminded.
- Has good attention to detail.
- Is confident using computers/IT and learning new systems.
- Is comfortable communicating with customers, engineers and suppliers.
- Can prioritise when several things need dealing with at once.
- Enjoys solving problems and finding better ways of doing things.
Previous administration, customer service, scheduling, trades/construction or office experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential for the right person.
More Than Just an Admin Role
One of the things we want to offer is the opportunity for this position to develop around the person who joins us.
As the business grows, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility and become involved in other areas.
If you have an interest in things such as:
- Social media
- Content creation
- Website management
- Digital marketing
- Photography or video
- Customer case studies
- Business systems and automation
- Improving internal processes
- Recruitment and onboarding
…we’d love to hear about it.
You won’t be expected to do all of these things as part of your normal administration role. Instead, we want to create an environment where your ideas are listened to.
If you spot something we could be doing better, we’d encourage you to suggest it. If you’ve got an idea that could improve the business or our customers’ experience, you’ll have the opportunity to explore it and potentially take ownership of it.
Over time, this could allow the position to develop towards areas such as Office Management, Operations, Customer Experience or Marketing, depending on your strengths and interests.

Customers get a quick response.
