We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for maintaining clean and hygienic environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that commercial premises are kept in pristine condition, supporting the overall cleanliness standards of our organisation.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and security
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous
