Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist with food presentation to ensure an appealing display for guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently
- Greet guests courteously and provide excellent guest services
- Take orders via phone or in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients
- Support delivery drivers when necessary, ensuring timely receipt of supplies
- Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork spirit during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred
- Skills in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations are highly desirable
- Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and friendly guest service approach
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good phone etiquette for taking reservations or guest inquiries
- Organised with strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- A proactive attitude with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
