Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation of piping systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and piping infrastructure to identify leaks, corrosion or other issues requiring maintenance or replacement.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to move pipes and materials into position for installation or repair.
- Perform welding tasks to join metal pipes securely in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines while ensuring quality workmanship on every task.
Experience
- Proven experience as a plumber or pipefitter in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques related to piping systems.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing components, pipe fitting procedures, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate commercial driving vehicles if required for transportation between job sites.
- Familiarity with carpentry skills that support framing or structural adjustments during installations.
- Prior experience with welding processes such as MIG or TIG is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to plumbing work, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
