Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position is fully paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when appropriate
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the service area
- Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean and tidy front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, adhering to hygiene protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in serving, or hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach to customer service and teamwork
- Flexibility to work shifts including day times, evenings and weekends required
- Prior barista experience or experience in food preparation is considered a plus
- A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
