We are now looking for an experienced and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our growing Transport team.
You will become part of a supportive team, working with established customers and driving a well-maintained fleet, with new vehicles arriving in December.
The Role
As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional collection and delivery of goods while maintaining effective communication with our Transport Office and customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
- Complying with all driver hours, Working Time Directive (WTD) and tachograph regulations
- Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Office
- Providing a professional and reliable service to our customers
- Representing Fusion and the wider Ken Wilkins Print Group in a professional manner
What We're Looking for to be considered for this role, you must have:
- A full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A minimum of 2 years' HGV driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC card
- A valid Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with the Transport Office
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
