We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent veterinary group with state-of-the-art hospital facilities, offering an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated Emergency and Critical Care team. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment where clinical excellence, collaboration and patient care are at the heart of everything they do.
Working an attractive 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota, you’ll enjoy an excellent work-life balance while managing a varied and rewarding caseload of emergency and critical care patients.
The Role
As a Night Veterinary Surgeon, you will:
- Provide high-quality emergency and critical care for small animal patients.
- Manage a varied caseload, including medical and surgical emergencies.
- Deliver exceptional inpatient care throughout the night.
- Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment to support clinical decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team of veterinary professionals to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
- Provide compassionate support and clear communication to clients during emergency situations.
About You
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Is RCVS registered.
- Has previous experience in Emergency and Critical Care.
- Is confident managing emergency and inpatient cases overnight.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- Communicates with empathy, professionalism and confidence.
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
