We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join our friendly and professional team. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a confident dental nurse who is passionate about high clinical standards, patient care, and supporting and developing the wider nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team to ensure consistently high clinical standards across the practice.
- Assist clinicians during a full range of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Act as a point of contact for clinical queries, offering guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with all cross-infection control, CQC, and health & safety regulations.
- Oversee surgery readiness, cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Support induction, training, and ongoing development of dental nurses and trainees.
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinicians to support smooth day-to-day clinical operations.
Experience & Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with current GDC registration.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead dental nursing role (or ready to step up).
- Confident assisting with a wide range of dental treatments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, supportive team player with a calm and professional approach.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical governance.
