Shifts: Day shift initially, transitioning to a rotating 3-shift pattern as production ramps up

We are recruiting experienced Maintenance Technicians to support a growing automotive manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly automated production environment where you'll play a key role in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently and reliably.
Working as part of the Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance, ensuring maximum equipment availability while supporting continuous improvement across the plant.
The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure production equipment is maintained to the highest standards, helping the business achieve its safety, quality and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and automation faults to minimise downtime.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and support improvements where required.
Record maintenance activities accurately using the CMMS system.
Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities alongside production teams.
Coordinate maintenance work with external contractors where necessary.
Monitor and manage spare parts to ensure equipment availability.
Work closely with Quality and Production teams to improve equipment performance and process capability.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.
About You
We're looking for a proactive maintenance professional who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
Good understanding of PLC-controlled machinery and basic PLC fault diagnosis.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Experience using CMMS maintenance systems.
Ability to work a rotating shift pattern when required.
Desirable
Automotive manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
Experience supporting TPM activities.
Understanding of PPAP and quality systems.
