We are seeking a reliable Part Time Janitor / Cleaning Operative to join our team on Sundays.
Location: Brighton BN1 9SE
Pay Rate: £19.06 Per Hour
Hours: 6 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Sunday - Fixed Hours 11am till 4pm

About the Role
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, disinfecting, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries.
- Wash reusable cleaning materials (cloths, mop heads, dusters).
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report defects.
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste correctly.
- Complete daily/weekly site checklists.
- Respond promptly to any reactive cleaning tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock levels and place orders.
- Carry out scheduled cleaning inspections.
- Attend regular meetings with the Area Manager.
- Ensure building security and manage key holding duties.
- Deliver excellent standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ cleaning experience.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH.
- Ability to use mobile devices for timekeeping and Whats App.
- Must live in the UK and have the Right to Work.
