Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Groundworker/Block Paver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in various outdoor projects, including pavements, driveways.. Your expertise will help ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, develop your skills in masonry and ground preparation, and contribute to high-quality outdoor environments.
Duties
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling ground surfaces using hand tools and power tools
- Lay bricks, blocks, and pavers with precision to create durable walkways, patios, and driveways
- Mix mortar and concrete accurately to secure bricks and blocks in place
- Operate a variety of power tools such as compactors, saws, and drills to facilitate efficient installation
- Assist with basic carpentry tasks related to site setup or formwork for concrete pours
- Support roofing or masonry tasks when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Use welding equipment for minor repairs or structural adjustments as needed during project execution
Experience
- Proven experience working as a groundworker or block paver on construction or landscaping projects
- Skilled in using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, levels, and chisels effectively

Pay: £15.76-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 per week
