The Role
A great opportunity has arisen within our Brake Press team at SAS Internationals site in Bridgend. This individual will be responsible for the setting and operating of Brake Press machinery.
Key Skills
- Previous time served in a similar role
- Be able to programme, set and run CNC Press Brakes.
- Understand Engineering drawings.
- Work to tight tolerances.
- Use measuring equipment.
- Production environment experience
- Ability to work on own or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills.
Duties
- To load and off load the press achieving the rate required.
- Understand engineering drawings.
- To identify all stillage’s with the correct quantity.
- Ensure quality compliance at all times in line with customer requirements.
- To ensure adherence to procedure in wearing required PPE to operate the RAS machine.
- Ensure housekeeping procedures are fully adhered to.
- To carry out relevant training as and when required.
- To undertake any reasonable request from Directors, Managers and other members of staff.
