Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and maintaining hygiene protocols
- Engage in suggestive selling by upselling menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver fast, friendly service without compromising quality
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important
- Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety regulations is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash or card payments
- Kitchen or culinary experience can be advantageous for supporting food prep tasks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume service times
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
