Band 5 Physiotherapists provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment to patients with a range of physical conditions, supporting their recovery and aiming to improve mobility and function. They work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering individualized care plans and promoting health and wellbeing. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, contributing to service development, and engaging in ongoing professional learning.
Rotational post across RDaSH including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Home First Services and Neuro Services.
Rotations will last 6 months each.
Clinical
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments for diverse conditions.
- Plan, implement, and adapt interventions collaboratively with patients to ensure effectiveness and progress.
- Provide person-centred care and rehabilitation across various settings.
- Work autonomously, managing and prioritising own caseload efficiently.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, timely rehabilitation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and professionals, using empathy and clarity.
- Refer to other professionals/agencies as appropriate and act as a patient advocate.
- Maintain dignity, privacy, and holistic well-being for patients and carers.
- Participate in weekend rota when required.
