As a 4 on / 4 off Dairy Operative, you will play a key role in delivering the daily manufacturing plan while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and Health & Safety. You wi
You will ensure all company procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements are followed accurately and consistently, supporting a safe and efficient production environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, Technical standards, and Health & Safety requirements

Supporting delivery of departmental KPIs including plan attainment, yield, waste reduction, GMP, and microbiological standards

Completing and maintaining accurate daily documentation, including quality, training, and H&S records

Supporting waste reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Driving Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and demonstrating “What Good Looks Like”

Maintaining audit readiness across all areas of the department

Building strong, positive working relationships across your team and wider departments
- Food Hygiene Level 2
-
Basic food hygiene knowledge/experience
-
Good literacy and numeracy skills

Confident IT/PC skills

Understanding of HACCP principles
- Previous dairy or cheese manufacturing experience

Further HACCP knowledge or qualifications
You will be methodical, detail-focused, and comfortable working within structured processes. A strong team ethic, clear communication skills, and a proactive attitude are essential.
