We are a small family run business in Malmesbury, Wiltshire and due to continued growth and workload we are currently looking to take on 2 new experienced general builders to join our workforce.
We operate within a wide range of works so every day is different and there will be a lot of variety in your work. We tend to operate within a 60 mile radius of our headquarters with most work being much closer so there is not excessive travel.
This exciting role will see your carry out work across a range of our offerings but mostly on our residential and commercial projects, working alongside other skilled tradespeople. This job provides lots of varied work meaning that no two days are the same and there is always a new challenge each day working across our various sites. The role would suit someone with 5+ years of experience in the construction industry who is knowledgeable and proficient in their trade. The correct attitude to work, a willingness to learn and a can do mindset are the most important attributes we look for in a candidate.
Desirable attributes:
- 5 years minimum building experience in the construction industry but preferably more
- Proficient and knowledgable in their trade
- Ability to lead a small team onsite so as to get everyone working as efficiently as possible.
- Full UK driving license
This is a full time employed PAYE position, self employed and agencies need not apply.
We offer competitive rates of pay commensurate with ability/ experience.
Our working hours are Monday- Friday 7-4:30 with 9hrs paid per day. Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 39 Hours.
28 days paid holiday including bank holidays.
